About Lady's Pet Charity
Caring for pets and people
We are an all-volunteer, 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization dedicated to providing care and funding for pets where financial options for their owners are limited. While Lady's Pet Charity is new, we have over 30 years experience creating and establishing non-profits!

Our Mission

To aid shelters where women, men, and children at risk can escape abuse with their pets.

To provide the elderly and their pets in assisted living or at home, monetary aid in caring for their beloved fur friends.

To assist the unhoused with care and feeding of their four-legged fur friends.
Meet our Board of Directors!


Jackie Stephenson
President and Co-Founder
Jackie is a 48-year retired career professional in the telecom industry with a degree in Classics and Political Science. She's served on the board of directors of several Atlanta organizations, including ArtCare and Hands Around the Hill.

John Askew
Treasurer and Co-Founder

John retired from the IRS after a 34-year career. He currently owns and manages a consulting company for small businesses and non-profits. John holds a BS degree in Accounting and an MBA in Finance and Management. John has been active for many years in public service around Atlanta as a Board member of several non-profit organizations.

Dr. Karen Jordan, DVM, CVA
Veterinary Adviser

Dr. J. has been a veterinarian for almost 30 years. A graduate of the Tuskegee University College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. J. serves as a Board member of Lady's Pet Charity contributing her wealth of knowledge and expertise in caring for pets.
